Autoroute Laurentienne
Autoroute 73 ends at route 371 in Stoneham-et-Tewkesbury united townships. Its sister, R-175, will be twinned
and extended as a 4-lane divided road through Réserve faunique des Laurentides W.R., up to Saguenay city before 2015. First,
the section through Stoneham village needs to be twinned. Visit http://www.autoroutestoneham.com/ or BAPE website for further informations.
2003-2008 Chaudière-Appalaches transportation plan suggest a new 19 kilometres section of A-73 between Saint-Joseph
and Saint-Georges-de-Beauce. Route 173 is actually being reconstructed in downtown Saint-Georges to accept eventual A-73 traffic.
